In food and beverage products, starches not only hold foods together, they give some of our favorite foods the characteristics that make them unique. Starch impacts and improves the texture, mouthfeel, shelf life and flavor in a variety of applications.

Our starches can be used in:
Cereals, soups, sauces, salad dressings, pudding, cakes, cookies, crackers, drink mixes, yogurt, butter, flavored milk, cheese, confections, batters, breadings and coatings.
Did you know?
- Unmodified starches are used primarily as thickening agents and binders. They are also sold to food packers for use by consumers in home baking.
- Modified starches remain stable at many temperatures, allowing foods to be frozen and then thawed without losing consistency and taste. This makes modified starches ideal for frozen and instant foods.
